When Dear White People was released on Netflix on April 28, 2017, it took over the entire internet. People were able to watch the entire 10-episode series in one sitting. How could you blame them? After releasing the movie of the same title in 2014, Dear White People made it's return and is here to leave a bigger mark on audiences. Some faces are new, and some are not. The OG cast members that are returning include, Brandon Bell as Troy Fairbanks and Marque Richardson as Reggie Green. New comers to the series include Logan Browning as Samantha White, DeRon Horton as Lionel Higgins, and Antionette Robertson as CoCo Conners. The show follows black college students who struggle with friendship, sexuality, identity, and racism on a college campus. The only way you will be able to full wrap your mind around the series if it you watch it for yourself. Here's some of the best moments from Season 1, Episode 1, 'Chapter I' of Dear White People.

I love that #DearWhitePeople shows different ranges and emotions of black people. No one character is alike. I am excited to see how all of the characters progress in season 2, coming in 2018 on Netflix!
