Donovan "Spida" Mitchell put on an electrifying performance in game 1 of the West semifinals series with 45 pts, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists.

After trailing 60-47 at halftime, Mitchell went on a 10-2 run early in the third to put his team back in the game and cut the deficit by 5. His explosiveness on the court gave the Jazz that much needed momentum and fight to pull off a stunning victory in front of the home court.

With help from Sixth Man of the Year Jordan Clarkson (18 pts, 2 rebounds, 1 assist) and Jazz F Bogdanovic (18 pts, 5 rebounds, 1 assist) the Jazz took home game 1, 112-109.

Mitchell also tied Jazz legend Karl Malone, with his fourth-career 40 point game, the most in franchise postseason history.

What started off as a dominating double-digit lead for Kawhi Leonard and the LA Clippers, quickly turned into a sneak preview of the Donovan Mitchell show.

The Clippers led by Paul George (20 pts, 10 rebounds, 2 assists) and Kawhi Leonard (23 pts, 7 rebounds, 3 assists) struggled to find an answer for Mitchell, who just became un-guardable in the 4th quarter.

Game 2 of the series will be played on Thursday, June 10, back in Vivint Smart home arena.
