Drake Loves Black Women

It is no surprise that October's Very Own, Drake has been hitting us with the summer anthems lately. Even though it is still freezing in some parts of the country, between God's Plan and his latest single, Nice For What, you might be asking, where are the cookouts and when do they start.

After channeling New Orleans bounce music, Drake's newest video shows a slew of Black women embracing their beauty and their craft. Between Issa Rae controlling a writer's room full of arguing white men, to Tracee Ellis Ross relishing in her beauty in a field of reflective prisms, Tiffany Haddish looking like a boss in a tub of crystals, and Yara Shahidi flexing on everybody in her Harvard sweatshirt, it is to no surprise that a 22-year old Black woman, Karena Evans was the force behind the masterpiece.
