Holiday Season

Today is officially November 1, which means it is time for Christmas, right?! I mean, the hot weather is no longer and there’s no reason to get spooky and dress up in costumes anymore.

It's fall time and the holiday season is coming up, which means it is time to get these layers poppin'. We are ready to see the trench coats, the boots, and all of the other extra fall accessories.

Not only is it time for the amazing outfits, but we know everybody is ready to eat. Who else is ready for the beautiful displays of delicious mac and cheese, fried turkey, collard, greens, yams, cornbread, and we didn't even mention the dessert. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know. Pick your mouth up and slurp away the drool. The food will be here before me know it.

College kids, there's about 3 weeks left before you're sitting around the table with all of your aunties asking, "How are your grades?" and you respond with an answer that is not relevant to the question. Besides the overwhelming anxiety that you have about that upcoming conversation, just know that you are one day closer to take a shower without wearing any shoes, doing your laundry for free, as well as eating food made with love and compassion.

Not only are we about to eat amazing food and get our lives, it is also time to shoot your shot at the fineness that you've been following on Twitter for a minute. It's time to make them yours and rub your ashy ankles on them to get warm this season. This is the very beginning of the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years holiday season. Let's all celebrate safely, responsibly, and with good fun.
