In the midst of the Pusha T and Drake beef, Drake reminded us why he is still hip-hop's golden child. On May 26, Drake released the single, "I'm Upset" after dropping his diss to Pusha T. Almost three weeks later, Drake drops a video reuniting himself back with the cast of Degrassi. The hit Canandian show that covered multiple topics about adolescence such as; teen pregnancy, suicide, drugs, school shootings, bullying and much more.
The fabulous Karena Evans has been the creative source behind all of Drake's recent videos, and just like "Nice For What", she absolutely bodied this visual as well. The video featured many cast members from Degrassi: Next Generation including, Shane Kippel, his best friend in the series, Adamo Rugguiero, Jake Epstein, AJ Saudin, Andrea Lewis, and even Ephram Ellis who played Rick, who is known for committing a school shooting that ultimately put Drake's character, Jimmy, in a wheelchair.
If you are a fan of Degrassi, such as myself, you were elated to see this mini-reunion. Watch Drake's new video, "I'm Upset", below.
