Jerrod Carmichael is a very low-key celebrity. He performs stand up, interviews his famous friends, and you can sometimes hear his voice on your favoriate album of 2019. Recently, Jerrod stopped by The Breakfast Club to "promote" his upcoming special, Sermon On The Mount. This new series is another in-depth look at his family life in North Carolina. His Mothers Day release of Home Videos gave the Black women in his life a platform to discuss some of the most pressing issues in society, such as identity, interracial relationships, and infidileity. This is the rawest we have ever seen Jerrod. Viewers are use to his enthralling opinions, his ruthless stand-up, and how he comedically depicted his family on the NBC series, The Carmichael Show.
During his recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Charlamange Tha God was the only present member of the morning trio. During the nearly hour long interview, Jerrod and Charlamange talked about therapy, their relationship with their fathers, Black families, and even discussed Jerrod's upcoming project, Sermon On The Mount.
