Many of us have gotten to know the name, Shameik Moore, for his role of Shaolin Fantastic, the lady-killing romantic, on Netflix's Original, now cancelled series, The Get Down. When the news broke earlier this week that The Get Down will not be returning to Netflix for a second season, many fans were rightfully upset. It was a show that had a huge LGBT and black and brown representation. Many fans, being of African and Hispanic, descendent loved the show and everything it brought to life. Just because the show will not be retuning for a second season, doesn't mean that we cannot praise the journey of the lead and super star, Shameik Moore.

2013 - Incredible Crew on Cartoon Network.

2015 - Malcolm Adekanbi in DOPE

2016 -2017 - Shaolin Fantastic in The Get Down

In addition to creating film, Shameik also makes music. He had a mixtape titled, 30058, which dropped in 2015. He continued into 2016 and 2017 dropping singles such as, "Cautious", "Jiggle It", and the latest single, "Ride The Beat".

When one door closes, another one opens. This is not the end of Shameik Moore as he will be voicing the role of Miles Morales in the upcoming Spider-Man film. Throughout the years, he has progressed as an actor and has definitely solidified himself in the hearts of women all over.  Keep up the good work Shameik. You got loyal fans in your corner.
