I, for one, am not a fan of superhero movies. I know the very bare minimum and close to nothing about Captain America, or Iron Man, or Superman. At most, I can tell you the colors of their costumes, and that's about it. But there is one thing I know for certain, and it is that Black Panther will be the greatest superhero movie of all time. Now, like the superheroes before, I know nothing about Black Panther, but I am definitely willing to learn. #BlackTwitter has already come together in an effort to make this the most successful Marvel movie of all time. According to BoxOfficeMojo, the most successful Marvel movie is, Marvel's The Avengers (2012) bringing in 1.5 billion dollars in the box-office would wide. We are a very optimistic people, but I truly believe that we can do it. I mean after all, Get Out, made $250 million worldwide up against a $4.5 million dollar budget.
With actors such as Chadwick Boseman (43/Get On Up), Lupita Nyong'o (12 Years a Salve/Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station/Creed), Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out), Forest Whitaker (The Butler), and Angela Bassett (Boyz N The Hood/Waiting To Exhale), there is no reason for this movie not to become a success.
#BlackTwitter has joked about showing up to the movie theater in traditional African attire, while eating traditional black American meals such as, fried chicken, baked macaroni & cheese, collard greens, corn bread, and everything alike, while simultaneously getting loud and cheering all throughout the film because of it's greatness.
Since the first official trailer for Black Panther dropped during Game 4, people have not stopped talking about it. I for one, am very excited to support this film, as well as support another collaboration project between director Ryan Coogler, and Michael B. Jordan. Let's go! #BlackPantherSoLit
