Lil Yachty and Burberry Perry, now known as TheGoodPerry, entered the rap game in 2016 with their nautical beats and melodic raps. They were a true rapper-producer combo. On Yachty's first mixtape, Lil Boat, Perry had five producer credits, on his next project, Summer Songs 2, Perry had three producer's credits, including a verse on the Sailing Team compilation song, "All In".Teenage Emotions, Yachty's debut album featured on producer's credit from Perry and on his two most recent projects, Lil Boat 2 and Nuthin' 2 Prove, Perry wasn't featured as a rapper nor producer. Many fans began to speculate that they weren't as they were no longer seen together on tour, or making music.
During A$AP Rocky's Injured Generation Tour, Boat and Perry were seen performing together for the first time in a long time. Hopefully we will see new music from this powerful duo very soon.
