Trevor Jackson has been teasing the release of his next project, Rough Drafts, Pt. 2 for quite some time now, and fans can finally rejoice in its release. It's predecessor, Rough Drafts, Pt. 1 was released in March of 2018 and Trevor has not slowed down since it's release. Almost one year later, Rough Drafts, Pt. 2 is here with multiple visuals dropping before it's surprise release date.
Weeks heading up to the new project, Jackson released visuals for singles such as "Puddles", "Warning", "SPAM In A Can", and "In My Crocs". This album was particularly personal as the song titles and videos were very representative of Jackson's life. He is a notable surfer, and gets clowned on a lot for wearing Crocs. A joke about his footwear even made it into an episode of Grown-ish, the Freeform series in which Jackson plays a pro-Black college student, Aaron Jackson.
Before the release of his second project, Jackson dropped "Boys Need Love 2" a remix of Summer Walkers "Girls Need Love" in January of 2019. The now removed video from YouTube received a lot of love from Summer Walker fans and fans of R&B music in general.
The drop of Rough Drafts, Pt. 2 comes on the heels of the premiere of the second part of season two of Grown-ish. It seems as though two will be a very special number for Jackson. Grown-ish premieres tonight and Trevor's new album, Rough Drafts, Pt. 2 is now available everywhere you listen to music.
